Brendan Jury is Jury Music.
He is an accomplished composer, producer, musical director and musician. Aside from doing international commercial campaigns for SA Tourism, Guiness and IBM in the United States, Brendan has musically directed and orchestrated cutting edge South African content such as Black Coffee’s Africa Rising which sold double platinum and The Parlotones Orchestrated.
Brendan has also scored numerous films including iNumber Number (now being re-made in the United States after being bought by Universal Pictures) and Happiness is a Four Letter Word (the extremely successful South African rom-com). Brendan has also scored many International documentaries for National Geographic as well as The Lions of Sabi Sands: Brothers in Blood for Discovery USA.
In Television, Brendan has worked prolifically, and recently won a WAWELA award in 2015 for Best Composition in a Television Production for Swartwater. He has also composed original score for Intersexions, Matatiele, Mutual Friends and the new soap episodes of Getroud Met Rugby. Brendan is currently working on a new film for Quizzical Pictures and continues to work with Black Coffee.
Working alongside business manager & executive producer Bernadette Vercellino, Brendan composes bespoke original compositions for the film, television, commercial, live event and music industry markets.
Since 2006 Brendan has also worked internationally with Q Department in New York as one of their preferred composers. Although based in Johannesburg, we work successfully with remote clients both internationally & within South Africa.
